In this step by step uncut and detailed tutorial, we go through my entire process of editing a podcast including importing files, noise cancellation, normalization, cutting, pop corrections, adding music, and multi tracking and mixing. We also bring in music for the intro and outro and add the appropriate cuts. Finally, we record in Ableton a midroll advertisement. In order to save time from going through editing an entire podcast, we focus on a small audio clip and go over the key techniques and tools along the way. You can use this to get an idea of the workflow and steps involved in the process from start to completion with editing, as well as a referencing guide for your own process and hopefully it's helpful!
