Cross-infection risks, PPE, decontamination procedures, waste management, and sharps safety.
Basic oral anatomy and common conditions
Normal oral structures, tooth types, and recognition of abnormalities (without diagnosing).
Dental procedures and materials
Awareness of common treatments, instruments, and materials to support clinical procedures safely.
Medical emergencies and health & safety
Recognition of common medical emergencies, basic life support, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
Communication and patient care
Professional communication, record keeping, managing anxious or vulnerable patients, and teamwork.
