UGC NET / SET (WB) FIRST PAPER Preparation Course

UGC NET পরীক্ষা বছরে দুবার NTA দ্বারা পরিচালিত হয়। পেপার-১ এ দশটি ইউনিট রয়েছে এবং প্রতিটি ইউনিটের পরীক্ষায় সমান গুরুত্ব রয়েছে।গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সাধারণ যোগ্যতার বিষয়গুলি একে একে নেওয়া শুরু করুন। আপনি শিক্ষাগত যোগ্যতা বিভাগ দিয়ে শুরু করতে পারেন।

বিশাল সিলেবাস এবং আপনার অধ্যয়নের ক্ষমতা বিশ্লেষণ করার পরে, প্রতিটি বিষয়ের জন্য সময়সীমা নির্ধারণ করুন এবং সময়মতো সেগুলো পূরণ করার চেষ্টা করুন।

কোনো বিষয় ছেড়ে যাবেন না কারণ পরীক্ষার প্রশ্নপত্রে প্রতিটি বিষয় থেকে কমপক্ষে 5টি প্রশ্ন অবশ্যই আসবে। টিচিং এবং রিসার্চ এ্যাপ্টিটিউডের উপর আরও বেশি ফোকাস করুন কারণ এই দুটি বিষয় বাকি অন্যদের তুলনায় কঠিন।

যেকোন যোগ্যতার প্রশ্ন সমাধানের জন্য সংক্ষিপ্ততম পদ্ধতিগুলো নিয়ে যাওয়াই ভালো। প্রস্তুতির সময় ফর্মুলা বা শর্ট ট্রিক্স সম্বলিত দ্রুত নোট তৈরি করুন। ভিড়ের সময় দ্রুত রিভিশন সঞ্চালনের জন্য এটি সবচেয়ে বুদ্ধিমান পদ্ধতি এবং এটি আপনাকে আপনার মস্তিষ্কের স্মৃতিশক্তি বাড়াতেও সাহায্য করবে।

দেড় ঘণ্টা পড়াশুনার পর অন্তত ১৫-২০ মিনিট বিরতি নিন।

যখনই আপনি একটি বিষয় সম্পূর্ণ করেন, সেই নির্দিষ্ট বিষয়ে আপনি যা শিখেছেন তার সব কিছুর তাৎক্ষণিক সংশোধন করুন।

সিলেবাসের প্রতিটি বিষয় থেকে উচ্চতর অসুবিধার স্তর ধারণকারী কমপক্ষে 10টি প্রশ্নের সমাধান করে অনুশীলন করুন।

আপনি যদি UGC NET জেনারেল অ্যাপটিটিউড পেপারের জন্য প্রস্তুতির সময় কোথাও আটকে থাকেন, তাহলে অন্যদের জিজ্ঞাসা করতে দ্বিধা করবেন না। আপনি হয় আপনার বন্ধুদের সাথে আলোচনা করতে পারেন অথবা টিউটরদের সাহায্য নিতে পারেন।

UGC NET / SET (WB) Syllabus

The UGC NET syllabus for Paper 1 consists of teaching and research ability, cognitive abilities, general awareness about teaching and learning processes in the higher education system.

Unit-I: Teaching Aptitude Syllabus

Teaching: Concept, Objectives, Levels of teaching (Memory, Understanding and Reflective), Characteristics and basic requirements.

Learner’s characteristics: Characteristics of adolescent and adult learners (Academic, Social, Emotional and Cognitive), Individual differences.

Factors affecting teaching related to Teacher, Learner, Support material, Instructional facilities, Learning environment and Institution.

Methods of teaching in Institutions of higher learning: Teacher centred vs. Learner-centred methods; offline vs. Online methods (Swayam, Swayamprabha, MOOCs etc.).

Teaching Support System: Traditional, Modern and ICT based.

Evaluation Systems: Elements and Types of evaluation, Evaluation in Choice Based Credit System in Higher education, Computer-based testing, Innovations in evaluation systems.

Unit-II: Research Aptitude Syllabus

Research: Meaning, Types, and Characteristics, Positivism and Postpositivistic approach to research.

Methods of Research: Experimental, Descriptive, Historical, Qualitative and Quantitative Methods, Steps of Research.

Thesis and Article writing: Format and styles of referencing.

Application of ICT in research.

Research ethics.

Unit-III Comprehension Syllabus

A passage of text is given. Questions are asked from the passage to be answered.

Unit-IV: Communication

Communication: Meaning, types and characteristics of communication.

Effective communication: Verbal and Non-verbal, Inter-Cultural and group communications, Classroom communication.

Barriers to effective communication.

Mass-Media and Society.

Unit-V: Mathematical Reasoning and Aptitude Syllabus

Types of reasoning.

Number series, Letter series, Codes and Relationships.

Mathematical Aptitude (Fraction, Time & Distance, Ratio, Proportion and Percentage, Profit and Loss, Interest and Discounting, Averages etc.).

Unit-VI: Logical Reasoning Syllabus

Understanding the structure of arguments: argument forms, the structure of categorical propositions, Mood and Figure, Formal and Informal fallacies, Uses of language, Connotations and denotations of terms, Classical square of opposition.

Evaluating and distinguishing deductive and inductive reasoning.

Analogies.

Venn diagram: Simple and multiple uses for establishing the validity of arguments.

Indian Logic: Means of knowledge.

Pramanas: Pratyaksha (Perception), Anumana (Inference), Upamana (Comparison), Shabda (Verbal testimony), Arthapatti (Implication) and Anupalabddhi (Non-apprehension).

Unit-VII: Data Interpretation Syllabus

NOTE: (i) Five questions each carrying 2 marks are to be set from each Module.

(ii) Whenever graphical/pictorial question(s) are set for sighted candidates, a passage followed by an equal number of questions and weightage be set for visually impaired candidates.
