Design a framework script for SAP that extends UFT script management, enabling tcode actions in sequence or random mode, with options, and main action handling SAP GUI, logging, and validation.
Explore the SAP GUI framework template script, viewing the Main action, input and log processing, environment capture, auto log on, and SAPTran t code handling across multiple iterations.
Opportunity to step through different size of scripts and framework impacts
Explore SAP GUI objects and repositories in UFT, including windows buttons, grids, entries, and display fields; distinguish local and shared repositories and manage object properties across SAP GUI upgrades.
Manage a shared repository for SAP test scripts, enable editing, merge and compare repositories, and export or import from Excel to align local and shared repositories.
Learn SAP GUI objects in UFT/QTP using object identification options and intelligence, which auto completes methods after a period or open parenthesis and lists named objects for selection.
Create and manage environment variables to share values across actions, using built-in, system, and user defined variables via code or test settings, with excel file support and reload on activation.
Explore environment and data table variables in UFT/QTP for SAP training, noting their unlimited scope and use in action code development; consider VBScript relevance and future release changes.
Explore output reporting and reviewing for UFT/QTP in SAP training, learn flexible reporting options, and select the right approach for your project needs, distinguishing useful versus avoidable reporting.
Explore an HTML alternative for test reporting, highlighting flexibility and features for your test requirements. Learn how clickable steps and page snapshots mark passed steps and enable upgrades.
Explore how to report test results using the results viewer, with options for HTML, PDF, or portable output, and leverage the SAP GUI framework and IDES for practice.
This course is designed to bring UFT or QTP together with SAP Portal and SAPGUI application testing activities. If you are only knowledgeable of UFT, but have never used it to test SAP applications, here is an opportunity for you to become proficient using UFT for SAP test automation. SAP Portal which is a WEB application use objects different from other WEB applications. SAPGUI also has a different set of objects that add complexity to test automation. This course is beneficial to knowing how to test these SAP application types with UFT and a data driven framework. If you are new to UFT and new to SAP but familiar with the products, you can benefit from this course as well.
