This course is designed for 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade learners to explore the world around them while reinforcing core knowledge in Math, Science, and Literacy subject matter. Students will virtually travel to three different countries and learn a little bit about the history and culture of each place. Within each lesson is a follow-up activity for students to test their knowledge of each skill being taught. By the end of the course, the student will have a better understanding of the world around them and reinforced learning strategies from the new Common Core curriculum to transfer into their current classrooms. This class can be taken as a jumpstart approach to their next grade level or as a supplemental learning program to keep their skills sharp all year long.
