The course will start off with the basics of how to download and install and then move on to the command line interface, interface configuration and more complex topics. It will be a good idea for the students to have some kinds of virtual environment like Virtual box, VMware workstation or Windows Hyper V. It will also be a good idea to have clone the virtual machine that you install so if there are two machines needed, you will have them.

Instructor
I have been in a technology role for more than 20 years now. Started off working at Sun Microsystems back in 1996 as an entry level systems administrator. I have worked for companies like Netscape, Tivoli Systems, Amazon, Cisco Systems and most recently IBM.
My expertise has been in Linux, Windows, Network, Virtualization and most recently in Cloud Computing.
I have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Wichita State University.
I have previously taught courses at community colleges and have taken technical training online.
I think I can explain technical subjects in a very systematic and easy to follow manner.
