This Module is all about setting up your Twitter Account for success. If you're brand new to Twitter, make sure you start here.
If you've been in the game for a bit, start here as well. I want to make sure you have a solid foundation for us to build upon.
In this Module you will learn how to:
- Set up your Twitter Account
- Email Notifications
- Select a Username
- Create a Profile Image that attracts clients
- Design a Twitter Header Image to be positioned as an expert
- Write a Rockin' Bio to Increase your Click-Through-Rate to your Website
Choosing your username can be an overwhelming task.Should you use your name or your companies name? This video answers that question.
You should always have at least your personal Twitter account. We live in a day and age where people want to do business with people. We crave personal access.
Take advantage of this by allowing YOU to be the VOICE of your brand and/or company.
This is why no matter what industry you are in, having a personal brand is powerful!
If you want to use Twitter for customer service and/or share updates about your companies products or services, having a company account can be good as well.
If this is the case, I recommend you have two Twitter accounts. One for YOU, your personal brand, and another for your company.
One of the key takeaways of this training video is to set up a unique email address specifically for your Twitter account and turn off all email notifications except when "followed by a new follower."
You will want to do this because otherwise your email inbox will blow up with notifications and more importantly, I share a strategy to help boost your organic reach and impressions in Module 4 where you will need to use a unique email address.
Images speak volumes. In this training you will learn one of the keys to attracting and connecting with your ideal client is having an authentic Twitter profile image.
It should be a headshot where people can see your eyes well.
You will want to create a profile image that is 400 px X 400 px. This will ensure your Twitter profile image will not be pixelated (blurry).

Learning to write a Rockin' Bio will help change the game for you when it comes to your click-through-rates (CTR). In this video, you will learn to follow a simple 2 step process.
Step One:
Select three to four words that represent who you are as a person in life and business.
Step Two:
Write a Power Statement. I help WHO do/get WHAT. You do not need to be clever or sexy with your words.
The goal is to keep it simple because people reading your bio are skimming through it trying to see how you can help them. So...tell them.

The way to do this is by welcoming all your new followers each day. You'll want to use that specific email account you created in Module 1 for this.
Direct Messages are a way to communicate privately on Twitter. Often times the only times you will want to use a Direct Message is when you want to give someone your contact information such as your email address, phone number or Skype ID.
You can also use Direct Messages to communicate with multiple people at a time when you use a Group Message. This allows you to talk privately to the group. One way to use this feature is to introduce people to one another.
Lastly, you can use Direct Messages to promote a specific offering to people. You will learn a Rockstar Tactic on this in Module 5.
Twitter Lists are very powerful because they allow you to segment you Followers and also keep track of conversations you want to be a part of.
Using Lists will help you connect with your ideal clients, referral and joint venture partners.

Twitter Chats are a powerful way to find and connect with your ideal clients. No matter what industry you are in, there is a Twitter Chat going on about it at some time during the week.
During these "Chats" your ideal clients are discussing a topic. It could be vegan runners talking about their diet or their next run or marketers talking about the latest and greatest in social media, etc.
Do a Google Search to find Twitter Chats that are going on about your Industry or Topic.
Also, look for "Chats" outside your industry but are related in some way.
