The Ultimate Skills (TUSK) Program are main skills and competencies required for the current workforce and leaders to excel in modern jobs and organizations. It has been developed based on creative and intelligent understanding of the organization challenges and its aspirations to become adaptive to change in the "new normal" environment. The four main skills are: Project Management Skills, Consulting Skills, Selling Skills and Leadership Skills.
Here is one of the TUSK Program: WINNING PROJECT MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK
Winning Project Management Framework program has only one goal; to give you the know-how to get your project launched (take-off) and sustaining it. A lot of project failed because they failed to launch; sadly everything is wasted. :( You will learn the winning Project Management Framework here.
Our focus is by taking a hard look at the Project Manager himself/herself. The target groups are Business and Community Leaders, Young Executives (The Millennials) and Students. This group represents the large-base of aspiring and growing project managers who run little projects that make big impact to societies; e.g. outreach and engagement programs, corporate responsibility (CR) events, product launches, budget and new business pitch, concerts and contests, internship, lifelong learning and so on.
My commitment as follows:
a) Live Session (with minimum 10 delegates or when necessary)
b) Email reply within 48 hours
c) Project Management Coaching/Advisory
d) All Access and Downloadable Guides and Templates
e) Additional Contextual Contents and Materials (Lifetime)
f) Personal Effectiveness Mastery
g) Digital Certificate of Accomplishment will be awarded upon completion
Methods used are Accelerated Learning and Hands-On Training. You will get to do real project and real time training. I have scheduled 12 Lectures, 10 minutes - 20 minutes each. I really pray that you have a good internet connection.

SUMMARY
In this section, you will get to experience new type of content. Project management as a body of knowledge is non-exhaustive and to cover them in a program could be too simplistic. Hence, I created Scenario-Based content by addressing each scenario independently so you can learn from it. The content is very simple by focusing on each scenario and based on my own personal experiences and from what I know about it. At times where you cannot find total solutions from it, I do hope it can inspire you in some ways and trigger potential solution in your project. As a versatile project manager, we need to possess growth mindset where we continuously learning and never settle for mediocre results. That is the spirit and we are always in good sport to learn something new from our stakeholders.
WHAT I SAID ON THE VIDEO? CHECK OUT THE SCRIPT
1. Hello, how are you? I hope things are well with your projects. So what is your progress right now as far as the program is concern? Currently we have 1,600 plus students and that's an awesome achievement for me and for this program. I do hope that you have begun the program so that you can benefit in the first few lectures. It will help you to kick start your projects and if you need some of the materials in terms of the templates, you can always provide me your email and I will give you access to the shared folder.
2. I plan to enrich the program with a bit more content, especially for the current students because I realized and I received some questions about how to handle certain scenarios in addressing your project challenges. Instead of going through it from theoretical based and providing solutions through email, I decided to video-taped them so it can be shared with more people.
3. As I am doing that, I realized that a lot more challenges that we could address using this method. I also believe it is also more engaging for you as well as for me, where you can hear what I say, I may be probably using some props to enhance the situation. I'll try to call some of my friends, perhaps they can come in and we can do interview like content where you can see how things pan out in terms of challenges in a project.
4. In the beginning of this video I hope you are still consume the content that we have (the lectures right now), I will add on a little bit more content on scenario-based challenges. Some of the things that I have prepared for you to know is there are 12 issues right now and challenges that I would see from the email from some students, some I gained from my own experiences.
5. Scenario that we are talking about, the 1st one is "How are you as a project manager provide leadership?", "how do you take over an ongoing project - it can never be easy because you could probably a team member at that time and later the project manager left and you have to step up to the main project manager role; how do you handle that?
6. "How do you assign project task?", I could see from my experience looking at junior project managers where assigning project tasks to project team members can be very challenging and difficult. Then, "how do you introduce a new member in your existing project team?", Normally in an ongoing project, a new member comes in for a very critical reason and very critical function and they can be probably doing critical job; "how do you give a briefing to executive committee?", This is very important, as you are progressing in your project.
7. "How do you discuss with your vendors?", "How do you communicate delay in project to the team members?", Sometimes team members are so confined in their work that they don't really have the big picture of the timeline. "How do you ask for additional budget?", you see sometimes project pan out in an interesting way where you do it for the first time where suddenly you realized you need extra budget. How do you do that?
8. "How do you reduce project cost?", I have a habit in my running project budget where at certain time I must cut cost. Cost can come in many ways, it can be in scope, cash or time to deliver. All these are savings and cost variables. Next is "how do you tell people with communication challenges?", you see when you do project you do it with people. People only have one problem in this world, in my opinion is communication problem.
9. "How do you create issues list and solutions to problems", as well as its implementation. Finally, "how do you inject creativity?". In the latest Fast Company Magazine, I love this edition so much where it talks about creativity. How do inject creativity in your project, where it is an ongoing challenging time and demanding. Until today if we talk about project its always about the toughness, the demanding, the difficult tasks that you have to do - how to make it creative and out of the box and inclusive in nature?
10. I hope to see you in the next content. Do consume the current content that you have signed-up. I will project some areas on the scenarios. Thank you very much. Bye.
How do you provide your leadership as a project manager? You could be a junior project manager or 1st timer managing a project, and it could be a big thing for you to assert your leadership. Here I provide an acronym LEADERSHIP that represent things you can do to achieve your leadership objectives. You could find in Lecture 4 here a one page note on the LEADERSHIP acronym.
Here I explain in greater details how do you apply LEADERSHIP in your project and enable you to gain trust and help you achieve your project objectives through exercising the right leadership.
Taking over an existing project can be very challenging sometimes. It also can be your opportunity to show up and stand out as a project manager. Given the high stakes on the project, I would like to help you out by leaning in and taking over the project in the smoothest way possible.
Three things that you need to do. Ask WHY, WHERE and PRIORITIES. Check out the video for more.
Assigning tasks to project team member can be a daunting experience for some project managers. I notice this especially for junior project managers that feel uncomfortable to "get others to do work". Of course, your team member sometimes will find ways to "avoid" and prefer doing easier work, it is inevitable for project manager to being able to assign the much needed tasks to the right team member.
In this lesson, I shared the techniques you can use to get strong buy in from each of your team member and get clarity of what needs to be done so that your project can be successful. You will also learn how to gain your team members commitment for them to deliver the right results for the project.
Briefing to the executive committee can be very challenging and unpleasant experience. The first meeting always the hardest, however it is also the encounter that will make or break your rapport with your project sponsor, director and other stakeholders. Instead, you should capitalize this meeting with Executive Committee and seize the opportunity to stand out and get full mandate for you to continue doing a great job as project manager.
In this lesson you will learn what you need to do their full attention and commitment on things that matter at hand in relation to the project. You will also be learning how to showcase your grasp of the project and demonstrate your facilitative nature in navigating the project to success.
This a new approach where you combined animation, and lecture. Perhaps the students can also see you once a while to build better relationship. Overall nice. *The new scenario-based videos are very intuitive. Great!
I understand that we are now in a growing global economy, but trying to take a course when you can't understand what the instructor is saying is challenging. I got this course for free, so it's not as big of a deal. I would demand a refund had I paid for the course!
