Description

I am a Tuscan born and bred food writer and cookbook author. I've been teaching cooking classes in my house in the countryside in between Siena and Florence for about 10 years now. In this course I'm sharing my family recipes, the menus for everyday meals and for festive occasions, the tips and tricks learnt teaching recipes to beginners from all over the world.

With this course you will join me in my kitchen, attending step-by-step cooking demonstrations to show you exactly how to prepare each recipe. We're going to use simple, affordable ingredients. Stock up your pantry and be ready to start cooking like an Italian and Tuscan home cook. Try each recipe soon after you have watched the lesson and enjoy the food with your family.

You'll learn recipes to make antipasti (appetisers, like chicken liver paté and fried sage leaves), primi (fresh pasta from scratch like tagliatelle and ravioli, gnocchi, and all the dressings for your pasta), secondi (traditional meat and fish dishes), contorni (seasonal side dishes as the Florentine peas) and dolci (my famous olive oil cake, but also crostate and almond biscotti).

Eat like a Tuscan UPDATE (July 2020):
- chicken liver spread for crostini
- fried sage leaves
- roasted pork loin
- almond biscotti

Sweet tooth UPDATE (May 2020):

As bonus recipes, you can find also:
- how to make the Italian pastry cream
- how to make a chocolate ganache

Pantry UPDATE:
- Talking about a Tuscan cooking repertoire
- How to stock your pantry
- Tuna and tomato sauce for pasta
- Tuna-stuffed round Zucchini
- Tuna Loaf With Lemon-Parsley Dressing
