Adriano Pianesi is a leadership educator and a change consultant. His work specializes in leading change and innovation by creating a space – physical and virtual – where people are empowered to build their future.
He started facilitating virtual work with groups in 2008. Adriano's research focuses on face-to-face/online large group methods, adaptive leadership, culture change, virtual team dynamics, and change management.
He has been teaching with Johns Hopkins Carey Business School since 2008 and is a faculty member of the Leadership School of the Foreign Service of the US State Department.
Professor Pianesi is the principal of ParticipAction Consulting, Inc.
He has consulted worldwide for organizations like Microsoft, Amazon, Philip Morris, the US Marine Corps, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank.
He is fluent in Italian, French, and Spanish.
