Gangs are an essential part of growing up and becoming a law abiding citizen, but you wouldn't know it from the media. I'm happy to make a contribution so others with less means still have access to information.

  • Prison Gangs, OMGs, MS-13, etc from the Street to Investigations0:01

Gang intelligence is the foundation of every gang case. Reports are the building blocks of the case structure. Each report, regardless of the type, will add another block of information to the overall case.

  • Deciperhing Gang Graffitti

Where graffiti is concerned, the writing truly is “on the wall”. It’s an annoyance, to be sure, but it’s also somewhat interesting - at least the gang-related graffiti, anyway. In many ways, gang graffiti is a code - and like most codes, it’s susceptible to analysis.

    MOVIE: Transnational Organized Crime (Gangs)

A student may select a movie that depicts Intelligence Analysis of Organized Crime which must be approved by the instructor in lieu of the Research Paper. No two students may choose the same film. After viewing the film, you will have to prepare a paper which indicates the authenticity of the film, the actors and the characters depicted, pivotal scenes, violence level, and what you liked or disliked about the film. You may also include the critics’ review of the film when in the theater. I can recommend a film to you if you choose this option.
