    Welcome to the class, everyone! My name is Lee Mitchell, and I am thrilled to be your instructor. With 12 years of experience in the IT field, I have developed a deep passion for leadership in technology and the joy of teaching others.

    Throughout my career, I have constantly strived to stay current with the ever-evolving technology landscape. Currently, my focus lies in the realm of IT security due to my current position. I began my journey in 2007 with the United States Army, where I had the privilege of serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. During those deployments, I played a vital role in reducing network downtime by analyzing service desk activities, documenting resolutions, and pinpointing chronic problem areas.

    After my time in the military, I expanded my knowledge and skills by working with three banking facilities and a television company. These diverse experiences provided me with expertise in different domains, account management, budgeting, and permissions allocation. Furthermore, teaching company standards, guidelines, and policies enabled me to grasp the mission of each organization more profoundly, allowing me to lead effectively.

    In a creative and dynamic environment, I collaborated closely with a variety of professionals, including executives, to deliver prompt responses and provide long-term IT solutions. My approach incorporated best practices from various IT frameworks and an in-depth understanding of user needs.
