Traditional Chinese Medicine to Enhance Your Body’s Defenses Just in time for Cold and Flu season!
Taught by licensed acupuncturist, herbalist & author: Jeanie Mossa MS. L.Ac.
Learn how Traditional Chinese Medicine can help boost the immune system, help the body to fight pathogens, colds, viruses and other illnesses. Other modalities not part of Traditional Chinese Medicine such as supplements, vitamins, medicinal mushrooms for anemia, cancer treatment and prevention, exhaustion, stress and anxiety will be included.
In this class we will cover basic Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) theories of Yin & Yang, Qi & Blood.
You will also learn about the various therapies used in TCM and how they help the body:
Acupuncture (Please note you will not learn how to do acupuncture in this class!)
Acupressure (With a special section demonstrating an acupressure point to use on yourself everyday.)
Chinese Herbal Medicine - Herbs for flu, colds, immune system, anemia and fatigue

Instructor
Jeanie Mossa MS. L.Ac., is the founder of Four Paws Acupuncture, a veterinary acupuncture practice north of Boston. She is an acupuncturist (L.Ac.) with over 25 years of experience treating animals and humans with holistic medicine.
She holds a masters degree (MS) in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and has completed the Animal Acupuncture certification program at New England School of Acupuncture. She is a former faculty member of the Canadian College of Oriental Medicine (Toronto, Canada).
She has written and illustrated five books and created several online classes. In her spare time, Jeanie is also an artist and owner of Practical Magic Salem featuring one of a kind jewelry, mixed media and art dolls.
Jeanie lives in Salem MA with her husband and their menagerie of magical creatures.
