Description

This course is for those who are interested in understanding the fundamentals of investing/trading including Stocks, Crypto and Gold. It is important to have basic knowledge of these instruments as most of us are investing for retirement at the minimum. Thanks to the innovation there are several instruments available for investing/trading to minimize the risk and maximize the return.

For example, Stocks, mutual funds are known for many, but the new instruments are Electronically traded funds, sector funds, index funds, options, futures, different cryptocurrencies, commodities, commodity ETFs.

This course provides basics, pointers, and tools to start the journey or improve the current journey of investing and trading. As part of this course, we will share the URLs and links for research and trade on stocks, ETFs, Charts, and Cryptocurrencies.

The intent of the course is to clarify the myths in understanding the underlying reason for acceptance of Cryptocurrencies and the need and reason for including them in a portfolio of investments. The biggest criticism is these are new and no intrinsic value, unlimited supply, and new regulations.

However, the reality is the newer, the more potential for gains. How many of you know the initial price of Bitcoin? It was less than one cent. Who says there is a  limit to the supply of shares? , companies offer additional shares to the public, they split, they offer to employees as stock options. Gold is an investment, isn't it? It is because it was a 'universal' currency. There are people who think all govt currencies are backed by Gold. However it was decades ago, the world moved away from Gold Standard.

Understanding the big picture will help to have more choices for investing.
