Learn Korean : TOPIK 1 Exam Preparation Course

Korean 1, 2, 3

Korean 1, 2, 3 is a course created specifically for all students who want to learn elementary Korean. This curriculum is made for beginners who don't know or know a little Hangul. The main purpose of our course is to help students:

1. Understand Korean and Korean culture

2. Hold simple conversations daily

3. Achieve a high score on the TOPIK1 exam

Existing online lectures lack clarity when teaching vocabulary and grammar components. To supplement these factors we made our lectures as if it was an offline class. Each lecture gives time for students to speak out loud and practice their speaking skills with the instructors.

Another main component we implemented in the curriculum is "Korean Culture". Through this course, we envision teaching our students to not only be able to speak the language but to also be able to live and adapt to Korea's society.

한국어 1, 2, 3

'한국어 1, 2, 3'은 한국어를 배우고자 하는 모든 외국인들을 위해 제작되었습니다. 본 강의를 통해 학습자들은 간단한 일상 대화뿐 아닌 TOPIKⅠ 시험 대비를 할 수 있습니다.

본 강의의 목표:

첫째, 일상생활에 관련된 간단한 대화를 구사할 수 있다.

본 과정은 어휘와 문법의 긴밀성이 부족한 기존 온라인 수업과는 차별화 된 강의로 진행되었습니다. 읽기, 쓰기, 듣기, 말하기 중심의 통합식 교육을 지향하여 워크북을 통한 쓰기 부분의 보완과 수업참여자(학생)을 통해 학습자가 스스로 발화할 수 있는 시간을 주어  통합식 교육이 가능하도록 하였습니다.

둘째, TOPIKⅠ 시험 대비 강의를 갈음할 수 있다.

문법 강의와 토픽 문제 풀이 강의를 연계하여 학습자들의 실용성을 높이고 토픽 필수 문법을 모두 교수함으로써 토픽시험에 대한 대비를 할 수 있게 하였습니다. 본 강의를 모두 수강한 후 3강에 걸친 문제풀이 수업을 통해 학습자들이 토픽시험에 가시적인 결과를 얻을 수 있도록 하였습니다. 

What you should expect from this course

Our course is made up of 10 units (66 high-quality online lectures). There is no textbook for this course, but there is a downloadable worksheet provided for each lecture. Not only does the worksheet allow students to improve their writing skills but it also helps students become self-directed learners.

Our curriculum is taught by two instructors:

Professor Hyeran Park (Korean)

• Ph.D. at Konkuk University

• Korean Language Instructor at Konkuk University's Language Institute

Thảo Linh (Vietnamese)

• Vietnamese student studying in Korea

• Passed the TOPIK II exam

With the combination of these two instructors, students will be able to learn Korean easily from scratch. There is little Vietnamese description in the introduction, but about 95 percent of all learning content is led by a native Korean instructor, allowing all learners to learn Korean through the videos. If students have any inquiries, there is a Q&A board where students can post questions.

본 과정은 10단원(총 66강)으로 구성되어 있으며 강의마다 다운로드가 가능한 워크북이 제공됩니다. 이 워크북은 학생들에게 글쓰기 능력을 향상시킬 뿐만 아니라 학생들이 자기 주도적인 학습자가 되도록 도와줍니다.
