Description

Sound like a native English speaker by watching and learning the 50 idioms within this course.

In the UK idioms are used in everyday conversation. In fact, English speakers use up to three idioms per minute of speech! Idioms are a great way to communicate complex ideas in a concise and easily understood manner and the 50 idioms that I have chosen are some of the most common idioms used in the workplace in the UK today.

As it’s one of the biggest differences between native and non-native speakers I’ve pulled together the top 50 most common idioms and they will help you improve your spoken fluency and sound more like a native speaker. In my videos I will give you definitions, examples and pictorial representations of each idiom. Plus, I have added a short quiz at the end of each video and a PDF printout of the quiz for you to take away with you so that you can master and retain these idioms. And soon you will be hearing AND using these idioms all the time.

English fluency is achieved successfully through listening and repeating. This method allows your brain to absorb and retain the grammar patterns and grammar structures in a much more natural way. So, you should watch each video multiple times until you can understand everything you hear. Then take the quiz and then practice using them in a sentence.

That’s it from me. Good luck and have fun!
