Description

Perhaps you do not feel like you have time to spend to manage your time correctly.  You think it will be a waste of time.  It might feel like it is just better to work faster.  Remember, being busy all the time, does not mean you are using your time effectively.  In fact, being busy all the time can be a barrier to productivity. Although busy people are not wasting time, they are not necessarily utilizing their time properly.

John Randolph said:  Time is at once the most valuable and the most perishable of all your possessions.

Let's say your brain is like a smartphone.  You have been taking pictures and your phone storage is full.  It is operating slow and refusing to take more photos.  What do you do?

You delete the unnecessary photos from your phone.  An efficient mind works on the same principle.  In order to think clearly and creatively, you need to "clean that closet" so to speak.

You need to give yourself room to breathe in order to be productive and effective.

Planning and downtime are important.  So stop being overwhelmed all the time, rather spend the time now and learn how to manage the time that you have effectively.
