In this lesson, we'll give a Doctor a taste of his own medicine. Focus in on the frontal caricature, the inked detail in the face and the hand gesturing.
Please make sure to download the materials: sketch, inking and color versions. I recommend you copy these as it is a very helpful activity when practicing to create a caricature. Tip: Make details in the face inherent to the new form/shape. In other words, do not copy what you see on the photo or live person.
In the advanced lesson 5, I will focus on the face and body as a total caricature. Close attention is given to the body pose, gesturing, the accessories and the fine details in the face.
Please make sure to download the materials: sketch, inking and color versions. I recommend you copy these as it is a very helpful activity when practicing to create a caricature. Tip: When you draw the body as well, also study the total pose and gesturing of a person, and exaggerate that.
