Locate the word that has been translated “reward”.

1. Read pages 31-46 in Remnant of the Church.
This portion of the book is filled with questions that challenge your ability to think like the people of ancient Israel, which is quite different from own Greek, western way of thinking. So, stop and ponder the answers to all the questions.
First, you will be challenged to dig deeper in the Parable of the Wedding Banquet (“Many are Called but Few are Chosen”). Then you will turn to the Parable of the Prodigal Son where there are more questions for you to ponder.

Make a chart with three columns and fill in the pertinent details of each of the three accounts. What are the differences (additions, deletions subtle changes, etc.).

You will find the passage about Yeshua and the brethren quite challenging. Therefore, begin by reading the Appendix in Remnant of the Church at the back of the book on pages 197-215. This Appendix will help you work with ancient methods of uncovering depth of meaning in the Holy Writings.
Now read Hebrews 2:10-15 about Yeshua and the brethren. Note that the video lesson only covered verses 10-11. The following verses 12-15 present two proofs from the Hebrew Scriptures that support Yeshua’s discussion about his brothers.
