Students will:

5. Inform strategies and application of skills to real-life scenarios.

***The reality is that many people are challenged with setting appropriate boundaries in their life. Particularly, those boundaries involving the emotional and mental well-being. In this process of setting boundaries, it is essential to know who you are to be able to identify areas where boundaries should be established. Further, the "rules of engagement", which involves the people in our lives with whom we connect, often requires us to negotiate to an extent. The key, though, is to NOT diminish the self in the process.***


This course will uncover ways to address boundaries in a few real-world scenarios, where students can apply what they've learned to each case. In the end, students will be able to do the following:

1. Take more control over their decision-making process.

2. Discover core values and how to protect them when making decisions in life.

3. Optimize time when making the appropriate choices, which is essential to many individuals.

4. Gain confidence with practice and consistency - learn how to assert self. (This idea is further connected to the exploration of core values.)
