    Hello everyone and welcome. My name is Debbie Malloy and I'll be your instructor today. Our course of study is the power of boundary setting! Thank you in advance for your participation in this course. We will be learning why boundaries are so necessary for all relationships and how they will support meaningful connections. I'm a licensed professional counselor and much of my practice is helping those seeking therapy to build healthier relationships, not only with themselves but others. I hope you will find that this course will be educational as well as personally insightful. In my practice of over 25 years, I have found that meaningful connections begin with a positive nonjudgmental regard and respect for others. This process begins within. So, in this course, we will encourage honest self-evaluations and increase self-awareness through character strength assessments and interactive exercises like the “Points of You”. Yes, you heard me right, the points of Y-O-U! We all have a point of view but “Points of You” will help expand perception. This is a tool I use in my own practice to help shift perspectives, expanding perception using the language and photos to explore important questions like; Do I allow myself to be me? What's the difference between completeness and perfection? What aspects of myself am I most judgemental about?

The Power of Boundaries is a transformative course guided by Debbie Malloy, a licensed counselor and life coach with over 25 years of professional experience. These include exercises such as the  VIA character and strength assessment, Emotional Body Scan, and the "Points of You", a transformative tool utilizing the power of language and photos to expand perception and guide introspection on crucial questions like self-acceptance and authenticity.
