Meet Olivier Girard: a mechanical engineer with a specialization in ergonomics and a posture therapist trained in the Mensendieck method. He is also the author behind "The Posture Manual."
In 2017, Olivier established Erg'OH Conseil, a Swiss firm specializing in occupational health and ergonomics consulting. With a deep focus on preventing and addressing musculoskeletal disorders, he offers invaluable expertise to corporate and individual clients worldwide.
His client roster includes renowned organizations like Logitech, First Abu Dhabi Bank, Bel Group, and over 200 others. Whether remotely or on-site, Olivier provides tailored advice and solutions, both in Switzerland and globally.
Recognized by medical professionals, surgeons, and university hospitals, Olivier is sought after for his insights into pain management and its broader implications, such as reduced productivity, absenteeism, and the risk of long-term disability.
Oliver L. Yeh, M.D., serves as the Medical Director of Ophthalmology, Canyons Region, Intermountain Health. As a practicing ophthalmologist, he found that per prior national surveys, nearly half of his colleagues are afflicted by neck and back pain due to the positioning at the operating microscope and in clinic. He worked with other physician leaders of Intermountain's Surgical Services who also recognized the critical need for ergonomics training.
These discussions inspired Dr. Yeh to contact Olivier Girard to develop a course that taught ergonomics to physicians, surgeons, and all caregivers in healthcare.
