What you'll learn
- Rosé wine from Provence
Requirements

Description
The Magic of Provence Rosé demystifies Provence rosé by explaining what’s in it, how it’s made, and how it’s blended. Taught by a Provence resident who works in the wine business.
It's crazy how much confusing information is out there about rosé. They say rosé is not a blend of red and white wine, and yet it's hard to get a straight answer about why some rosés have white grapes in them like Vermentino. Some people say White Zinfandel is a rosé, and others say it is not. Who’s right?
I’m here to cut through the confusion and set the record straight. And not only that, but I can give you information that will help you derive even more pleasure from rosé!

Instructor
Michèle Foster is the creator of Solière rosé, an estate-grown AOP rosé from Provence. Her passion for both Provence and rosé began when she moved to the region in 2007. Originally from Texas and a frequent international traveler, Michèle grew frustrated with the paucity of good rosé available outside of France and decided to do something about it by creating Solière rosé, exclusively for export. After creating Solière rosé, she noticed that there was a lot of misinformation about Provence rosé floating around in the marketplace, so she decided to do something about that, too, and created this course. Her goal in creating The Magic of Provence Rosé is to foster a fuller appreciation and enjoyment of Provence rosé and Provence as a region.
