Description
This course is for those aspiring entrepreneurs out there looking to be their own boss whether it's a full time business or a side hustle. The course will take you on a journey that will allow you to understand what an entrepreneur is, what types of startups exist, where startup ideas come from, and how you can identify and refine your market. By taking this course, you will receive information and tools that help you identify an idea, decide on your market, and then assess the feasibility of the business objectively. This is the first course in the series - Foundations of Entrepreneurship.
Who this course is for:
- People who have an interest in starting their own business whether they have an idea or not. The business doesn't have to be a full time gig but can be a side hustle or a hobby the person wants to monetize.

Instructor
I’m an entrepreneur, teacher, project manager, and consultant. I understand some of the things you might be going through. I’ve had fast growing organizations with growth through acquisitions, product development, and market development. I’ve also experienced very difficult times in business and can help you through those journeys as well.
I have provided consulting services to many profit and non-profit organizations. Areas of consulting have been in: organizational development, strategic planning, sales training, acquisitions, due diligence, divestment, capital budgeting, compensation methods, employee ownership structures, and general negotiations to name a few.
I have an MBA and a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. I'm currently working on my doctorate in entrepreneurial learning.
When I'm not building online courses I am teaching at a local university or college, research entrepreneurial learning, consulting, or building my next business.
