The English Grammar Question Kit: Subject-Verb Agreement
Included in This Course
- Subject-Verb Agreement Question Kit Basics8 questions
- Verb Tense Agreement Question Kit8 questions
Description
In English Grammar, Subjects & Verbs in any sentence must agree. The Grammar rule here is that a Singular subject should have a corresponding verb that is singular.
The Subject-Verb Question Kit helps you practice this Grammar rule, through a series of Multiple Choice Questions. Practice how to identify the 'true' subject in a sentence, and how to handle special sentence structures, such as those with Compound Subjects.
You will also practice navigating the prepositional phrases and modifiers in longer sentences, so that you don't get confused on the 'true' subject.
In this Question Kit, I've included Verb Tense Agreement question sets, just to complement the 'Verb Vibe' and give you practice on Verb Tenses as well.
Who this course is for:
- Anyone planning for College Education, or preparing for SAT, IELTS or TOEFL English Grammar exams.
- Writers who want to brush up on their English Grammar.
- Students whose first language is not English.
Instructor
In my 5 years as a Course Content Creator, I've worked with several Colleges and Language Trainers, helping them to create content for Study Guides in English Grammar, as well as Course Content.
The common thread that binds all learning institutions teaching English Language & Grammar is the need for Practice.
Studying the Theory is one thing. However, for anyone to grasp the concepts, you just need to expose yourself to enough opportunities to practice the lessons.
I've seen how easy it becomes for anyone to pass their English Grammar exams (SAT, IELTS, and so many others) by going through a variety of practice questions.
I'd like to help out with that, through this Question Kit. The Questions will be packaged into Topic-based Question Kits, covering the major Grammar Topics studied across the board.
If there's a particular English Grammar Topic you want prioritized, shoot off an email to me and I will be happy to be of help to you.
I really hope the questions will be of benefit to you.
