This is a 'must watch!' video to see how to make great use of role plays in the course.
Your worth is inherent and not something you need to earn. Self-esteem is about recognizing your intrinsic value and letting that knowledge guide your choices, relationships, and future .
Self-esteem is the foundation of your inner life. When it's strong, you take risks, set boundaries, and recover from failure. When it's weak, you shrink, second-guess yourself, and settle for less . The inner critic, often a loud and negative voice, can undermine your self-esteem, but it's important to remember that this voice is not you—it's old programming .
By observing and replacing negative self-talk with affirmations like "I'm not perfect, but I'm learning," you can begin to rewrite your internal script . Your past may have shaped you, but it does not define you. Every small win and every promise you keep to yourself builds your future confidence .
Building self-esteem involves creating empowering habits, surrounding yourself with supportive people, and practicing gratitude . Resilience is also key; confidence means trusting yourself to get back up when life knocks you down .
Ultimately, you don't need to become someone new. You just need to remember who you already are, because you are worthy, and it's time to live like it .
This 'lesson' is a 4-minute meditative break in the forest in Ashdown, Berkshire, England in Spring. It is here following on from the lessons on mindfulness and meditation as a moment to enact the learning.
This case study is about a woman's journey toward confidence in her career. As a young woman entering a competitive field, she often felt the weight of expectations pressing down on her. There was an unspoken pressure to conform, to shed aspects of her femininity to be taken seriously. She had been told, sometimes directly and often - indirectly, that success in her career meant being "tough," "unemotional," and "practical" - qualities that seemed at odds with the parts of herself that she valued most.
