Being lost in the college admissions process is not fun and can cost you a LOT more money and stress in the end. In this course, I will walk you through step-by-step of what you need to know to ensure your child is prepared for college admissions from grades 8-12.
Here's what past students have to say:
“The College Timeline was a godsend! My daughter is very ambitious and I was so scared I would let her down as I don’t know anything about the college process. The course broke down the entire process in a way that made it easy for us to understand and helped us put a plan in place. We printed the guide and stuck in on our fridge so we both knew what was coming up next. This process is much more complicated than I thought, but at least I had an overview and solid place to start so I could wrap my head around it all. Every parent needs to watch this!!!” Kayla K.
“The College Timeline saved my life! As a mother of four girls, I was completely lost. I had no idea how to start the application process, let alone how I was going to get my kids through it. Elisia broke down the process step-by-step and gave deadlines for when materials will be due along with a timeline for when to start each step of the process. The guidance also reduced many fights after going through the course as we were all on the same page for when things are due and when my girls need to start working on the next task.” Angela B.

Hi, I’m Elisia, Founder and CEO of College Insights.
As a leading expert in the realm of academic advising, college admissions, financial aid, and scholarships, my mission is to educate and aid students through the college admissions process beginning as early as middle school and extending through graduate school. Working in education for 17 years has afforded me opportunities to work with thousands of students from around the world. I’m currently the only Certified Financial Aid Advisor in the state of Washington, have my Masters in Education, and I am a Certified College Counselor. I have done it all- from curriculum development to admissions, including five years as a university professor and leading corporate education at a large global company. After working in admissions for almost 10 years, I know the process inside and out.
As a teacher, I naturally love working with students and seeing the look on their faces when something finally clicks. With college admissions, I find it to be even more rewarding because I know how much I'm impacting the rest of their lives. I love knowing that these students are not going to have to choose between paying off student loans, getting married, or buying a house. I love seeing a student succeed and enjoy their college experience because they chose a college that is right for them. I love being able to provide students and parents with options they never thought they had, and making a difference in every way possible.
