Bhakti and Sufi traditions from the 8th to 18th century will cover the entire time period when the Bhakti movement started to rise and the thoughts and ideas If people changed to add people of the lower caste in Hindu society to the mainstream. Revival of Hinduism was an important feature. Shiva and Vishnu were worshipped along with mother goddess. Bhakti Movement started in Southern India and finally spread to media in totality. Kabir, Mira bai and Guru nanak dev were some of the important people of that era. The course will take you down the history lane and through light on bhajans sung and dohas of Sant Kabir das.
