Description

Have you ever heard about moroccan food?

Do you want to discover and try moroccan recipies at home?

You are in the right place !

With me you will be able to make different recipies step by step and you will love to cook and discover new moroccan flavors as well as the famous pastry.

In this course i will share with you different recipies of making moroccan pancakes msemen

Moroccan msemen is a traditional north African flatbread often described as a square-shaped , flaky , and buttry pancakes.its made from a dough of flour , semolina , water and salt , which is stretched thin, folded multiple times with oil or butter , and then pan Fried until golden and crispy on the outside but soft inside. Msemen is commonly enjoyed for breakfast or as a snack , serves with honey and butter , or alongside mint tea . It's also used as a base for savory fillings , such as spiced meat or végétales. It's distinctive layers and crisp edges makes it a beloved part of moroccan cuisine

you’ve never made msemen before, I encourage you to try the recipe as is.

Don’t be alarmed by the quantity of oil and butter used in the process of shaping the msemen. All that oil won’t be absorbed into the dough. Done properly, msemen shouldn’t feel greasy or be any more indulgent than other rich treats such as croissants or donuts.

You’ll need ample work space to shape the dough into squares. A well-cleaned, clutter-free granite counter top, a large flat plastic or metal tray, or a large Moroccan gsaa will all do. Once, cooked, the msemen store beautifully in the freezer and are easy to reheat on short notice, so plan to make them ahead of time.

Once you master msemen, be sure to try making meloui, another type of Moroccan laminated crepe or pancake
