Tasha has been a college professor for over 10 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, and is certified as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
Tasha started writing her own resumes in high school and soon began creating and writing resumes for others. Tasha has written and revised resumes for many colleagues, students, friends, and even her own family.
After graduating from college, Tasha worked in management positions that gave her experience in human resource practices such as reviewing resumes, interviewing potential candidates, hiring employees, and coordinating orientation activities. This experience helped Tasha to understand how employers look at resumes and helped shape and sharpen Tasha’s resume writing skills. Tasha also uses that experience when teaching a Human Resources college course in which students learn how to create job descriptions, how to advertise job openings, how to interview and select candidates, and how to prepare the newly hired employee for orientation.
Tasha's current position as a college professor now puts her in a position where not only does she teach in a Health Information Management Bachelor’s Degree program, she also gets to teach and help her graduating students with interviewing skills, resume writing, and job search strategies to prepare them for their careers.
