Taoist masters suggest standing still as the first practice of enlightenment. To be able to stand still, however, a couple skills become necessary: in order to stand still, you first need the correct posture. In the correct posture, you must relax your body in order to still. To relax in standing posture, we incrementally increase relaxedness and practice vipassana meditation.

Stillness is an important concept and ability in Taoist tradition and has paved the way for generations as one of the first feats one conquers on the path of spirit ascension.
