Course content

30 sections180 lectures35h 17m total length
  • Introduction0:26

Explore the introduction to product design in Blender, focusing on using the interface and mitigating challenges. Learn how keyboard skills and reading support first chapter learning.

  • How to install Blender2:27

Download and install Blender from the official website, using the stable version 2.9, on Windows, macOS, or Linux, with simple options like Microsoft Store or direct download and extraction.

  • User Interface Blender3:58

Explore the Blender user interface and 3D navigation, learn to manage the timeline and keyframes, and apply modeling and sculpting tips for efficient scene editing.

  • Move,Rotate,Scale5:29

Learn to move, rotate, and scale objects in Blender using keyboard shortcuts like G, R, and S, with axis constraints and precision control for accurate 3D design.

  • Selecting Objects4:26

Learn to select objects in blender with left-click and shift for multi-select, circle select, and select all; manage deletions, inversion, and material or curve-based selections.

  • Edit Mode, Extrude , Inset4:33

Discover edit mode tools in blender to select vertices, edges, and faces, move and rotate them, and apply extrusion to add thickness, along with mesh division and material changes.

  • Edit Mode , Second Part8:51

Explore edit mode in Blender to add and subdivide geometry, bridge edge loops, twist and slide cuts, use knife tool for cuts, extrude and fill faces, and convert to triangles.

  • Edit Mode, Final part7:59

Master edit mode in Blender by manipulating objects, using the 3d cursor and snapping, mirroring across axes, merging vertices by distance, and recalculating normals.

  • Cursor, Separate, Join , Snapping8:15

Explore manipulating object origins in Blender using the 3D cursor, and learn to select, separate, and join objects while enabling snapping to grid and vertices to align geometry precisely.

  • Screw, Spin, Proportional Editing6:01

Explore screw and spin techniques in Blender to build a mechanical object, then use proportional editing, extrude and subdivision to refine shapes with deliberate vertex motion and steps.

  • UV Editing, Adding Materials6:48

Master uv editing and adding materials by unwrapping a 3d object, applying image textures, and adjusting color, metallic, roughness, and normal maps.

  • Modifiers8:31

Master Blender modifiers to model through boolean operations, unions, differences, and intersections, then refine with subdivision surface and apply distinct materials to visualize results.

  • Cast Modifier, Curves2:51

Discover how to use the cast modifier to turn a cube into a sphere, refine with subdivision, and apply curve and array modifiers for motion graphics in Blender.

Requirements

  • just pc and internet conenction

Description

hello,

my name is kamel altohamy(3d designer ) have experience of 7 years in the field of product design

in this course will teach you how to convert any 2d sketches to real product using free software which is blender

do not worry if you can not draw or sketch , will guide you from the basics step by step

this class contains 10 real projects which i have made for my clients, so you will gain real experience in the industry

we will explain the basics firstly,

then will see how to design table, chair, watch from scratch,

how to model interior scene,

how to model a microphone,

cosmetics, desk bedroom, product design for amazon, usb flash drive, playstation stick, robot , jewelry, plier

, and modeling logo from 2d to 3d animation and more...

not only modeling but we will also explain texturing and adding materials using cyles and photoshop

This will be massive course over than 20 hours,

will update the course on monthly basis .

Note, most of the lesson are using blender 2.8 but some lessons recorded using blender 2.7 but the techniques are the same ,

you still can follow along,

if you face any issue you can contact me anytime through messages or via email

Hope you enjoy the class let us dive into the class

Who this course is for:

  • For beginners in this field of3D, graphic designers and engineers
