Learn that acne isn’t your fault and nutrition addresses root causes for clearer skin. Compare safer, nutrition-based strategies with drugs like Accutane, discuss topical options, and expect variable results.
In this lecture I address these common myths and questions:
1. Is acne curable?
2. Washing acne will help because it is caused by dirt, excessive sebum, and/or an infection
3. Long hair or wearing hair over the face causes acne; infrequent shampooing causes acne
4. Sunlight can improve or worsen acne
5. Too little or too much sexual activity (sex or masturbation) can cause acne
6. Your diet has no effect on acne
7. Your weight has no effect on acne
8. Sweating and acne
9. Stress and acne
Correction: I want to correct my first point, where I say that "acne is treated, not cured." Then I say it is "not curable." What I should actually say here is that it may not be cured by certain prescription medications, like accutane and oral anti-inflammatory drugs, etc. Every disease can potentially be cured, but these particular prescriptions are known as treatments, and are unlikely to be cures. I believe acne can be cured, but you need to find your way there by getting to the roots of it, and currently there is no prescription drug known that can cure it. So find another way--in this lecture series, I teach you how to focus on your diet in the larger picture.
Believe you can be cured. Never believe that any disease is "incurable" except death, and never stop hoping for and seeking a cure until you have been cured.

Hi, I'm Greg Carr, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist. My Acne Diet course is for anyone who wants to clear up skin through nutrition using a proven, science-based method.
---
Did you know our skin is our largest organ? Like our other organs, the inside health of our body is reflected on our outer layer - our skin. What you eat and drink literally turns into you every day--your skin cells turn over and create a new you every ~28 days!
Fascinating, huh?
So doesn't it make sense that rather than applying more hydrocortisone cream, taking more antibiotics, or worse--taking Accutane--to fix your skin problems, you start with your diet?
If our first line of defense was nutrition, rather than writing prescriptions, perhaps we'd have far fewer illness and more healthier people!
Here you can learn to treat acne the natural way--with nutrition.
Like you, I've also struggled with acne for years of my life. After years of study, education, trial-and-error, and research, I built this special acne-fighting diet that is proven to work, science-based, and effective at getting results.
