Instructor
Terésa Dowell-Vest is a three time Geoffrey Award (Santa Monica Theatre Guild) winning director and a NAACP Theater Award nominee. She is the owner and CEO of Diva Blue Productions, Publications and Photography. Her credits include directing, writing, acting (stage and film), production design (film). She has worked on stages in New York City, Virginia and Los Angeles. In film, Terésa is a production designer, writer, director, and producer. Terésa has directed a number of short films including Stuck (2010), Shirts vs. Skins (2013) and Master Piece (2013).
In 1999, she wrote Vinegar Hill, a play commissioned by Live Arts Theatre in her hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia. Terésa published the coffee table book, "The Box 69: My Photographic Chronicle in Verse, Song, and Crayons" a look at crayons but from an adult's perspective. “Passage Home is Terésa’s third published book and her first novel. Terésa currently resides in Houston, TX.
