In the last decade surveys and studies have shown that more than 70% of 8th grade students and even adults do not know basic world geography. Sadly, today Geography is not considered as an important subject in the school curriculum.
When you visit a new place, meet new people, and learn about a new culture, the benefit to your life is immense, but it also benefits your friends, family, and other loved ones. Not only will you get to experience new things, but you’ll also bring what you learn back to your school, workplace, and hometown.
Geography is much more than just studying maps and knowledge of country capitals. Geography is an exciting subject that helps us to better understand people, places and environments. It helps us understand what places are like, why and how they are connected and the importance of location, global crises, migration, climate change and pandemics – all topics that are relevant today.
Our children are growing up in a globalized world, and today more than ever we do business online.
Geography matters because we are all connected. Geography matters because this is our world!

Hey : )
My name is Ivelina.
One of my biggest passions is to travel and explore different continents and countries. In my 20's I had the incredible opportunity to travel the World and this world adventure led me to four continents, sixty-eight countries, and crossed the waters of two oceans and six seas. With each new place I explored, I fell more in love with the culture and the people that I met along my journey.
Recognizing that today's young children are not receiving the basic Geography education, including my own children, I wanted to use my travel knowledge to create a course that will show them the World in a simple to understand language.
I wanted to share my experiences with young children and not just children but anyone who have yet to travel the World.
