“ใช่” (châi) - yes
"ไม่"(mâi) / “ไม่ใช่” (mâi-châi) - no
Example 1:
A: คุณเป็นนักเรียนใช่ไหม (kun bpen nák-riian châi-mái) - Are you student?
B: ใช่ (ค่ะ/ครับ) [châi (kà/kráp)] - Yes, I am.
/ ไม่ใช่ (ค่ะ/ครับ) [mâi châi (kà/kráp)] - No, I am not.

A: เอาน้ำไหม (ao nám mái) - Do you want water?
