Hello, I’m Morteza from ArtStudio313, and I’m thrilled to guide you on an exciting journey to master Blender! In this course, we’ll progress step by step, starting from the basics of Blender’s interface and moving all the way to low-poly modeling and texture painting.

What You’ll Learn

This course features 8 comprehensive chapters designed to help you build a solid foundation in Blender while focusing on texture painting, one of the most crucial aspects of 3D art. Here’s a quick overview:

  1. Getting Started with Blender

    • Learn the interface and essential tools.

    • Discover Blender’s workflow and navigation.

  2. Modeling Fundamentals

    • Create low-poly models and explore key tools like extrude, bevel, and modifiers.

    • Design and model a game-ready title step by step.

  3. UV Unwrapping Essentials

    • Understand the UV unwrapping process, including marking seams, unwrapping models, and creating a unified UV map.

  4. Texture Painting Basics

    • Compare using a mouse versus a graphic tablet for painting. (While a tablet is recommended, you can still achieve great results with a mouse!)

  5. Shading & Texture Setup

    • Learn how to create and apply image textures.

    • Prepare your models for texture painting in Blender’s shading and painting tabs.

  6. Mastering Texture Painting

    • Explore tools like fill, masking options, and bleed.

    • Adjust brush settings to paint AO, shadows, highlights, and fine details.

    • Fix common issues like flipped normals and colorize directly in the painting tab.

Course Highlights

  • Hands-on exercises: Paint each model one by one with a single texture, ready for use in game engines.

  • Problem-solving techniques to handle texture painting challenges.

  • An emphasis on practical skills to help you confidently paint any 3D model in Blender.
