In the first section provides hands-on application and settings guidance for the SEL-487V Capacitor Protection and Control System. APP 487V includes calculating voltage and current unbalance levels using IEEE C37.99-based software and data from capacitor bank examples to develop protection settings. Students will can work directly with an SEL‑487V to configure system data and determine protection settings.
In the second section will complete hands-on exercises to configure differential protection and advanced logic. SELogic, distance elements, directional elements, etc. ,I think all students will interested in this section
In the third section provides hands-on application and settings guidance for the SEL-487E Transformer Protection Relay, used worldwide to protect and monitor a wide variety of transformers, including power transformers, generator step-up transformers, and autotransformers.
