What is the most important factor influencing prospects to buy your product or services?

Testimonials! Testimonials help us build Trust, then build Sales

By utilizing stirling testimonials (reviews or comments from your best clients) in text, audio and or video format in your social media, and various web properties, you change your sales pitch into an influential, unbiased third party endorsement for your services and product.

Good-bye Buyer Reluctance
Adding testimonials is probably one of the easiest ways to improve your conversions, and a good testimonial can produce more profitable results than most sales copy you could write.

Three Key Benefits include:

  • Shorten your Sales Cycle

  • Increase your Sales per Transaction

  • Increase your the price per unit sold

What makes testimonials so powerful as a selling tool?

  • Testimonials build trust. When your clients rave about the results your product/service has brought them, they're telling your prospects that you are the answer to their problem(s).

  • Testimonials aren't "salesy." Since reviews aren't in your "voice", testimonials stand out in your messages as candid and unbiased stories of what you are about.

  • Testimonials overcome skepticism. A good review convinces even your most negative prospect that your product or service does what you say it does -- and can work for them, too.

This course is fully supported by Michael Ballard and Scott Paton. It's the perfect course if you want more sales and happier customers/clients by attracting the best prospects through the best use of testimonials.

Where to place your testimonials on your website

 - Who is your target? Industry, Sector, Level of Decision Maker

 - What is their industry style: Conservative, Outgoing, Change Agent, Highly Regulated

Do you place all of  your testimonials by each sector all online together?

Do you share only those you wish each sector to see. There is no one answer to this.

Talk to your mentors about this. Ive gained business from being seen as having relevant programming in many sectors. However I've lost business as I work with all age groups with some of my programs from ages 3 to 103. Yet some feel that excludes me from working with certain types of professionals.

The goal of the testimonial from electrical  was to get acknowledgement that the Resiliency programming produces behaviour change in staff.

I'd asked after I was hired but before I'd done the programming what key behaviours would they want to change in key staff. We agreed that positive behaviour changes that appeared after my programming and last up to the six month point would go into the testimonials.

So: I asked for the testimonial, we discussed key indicators I wanted mentioned, and we agreed on time frame. The client very graciously provided the testimonial.

The purpose of the testimonial from Spalding Pharmacy was to document sales success due to service, quality of product and attention to detail.  I use ti with my local manager used to with other sales professionals to prospect other clients and from there it went for use nationally.

So who will you ask for yours? What will you ask for? When will you ask?

Just starting out? Volunteer some of your expertise. Then get your testimonial(s).

Don't forget to quantify and qualify what you want in the testimonial(s).I wish you much success! Now go plan, ask and follow through.

The Picture Testimonial

Testimonial Goal:

This video was captured to assist a start up Arts group gain added awareness, patrons and donors in their second year.  We wanted to help the public understand these multi performance events where very interesting, exciting, and offered a wonderful way to connect in the community.  Note the varied ages of those in the video. That was deliberate.

What works for you in this video? Note the lighting. Some feel it should be closer to broadcast quality. Some feel that if the video comes off as too perfect it looks staged and less than honest. What do you think? Do leave us a comment in the Q& Answer section to the side. Thank you.

So do you think we captured the energy and excitement of the attendee's?
