Where you place your testimonials is almost as important as what is in your testimonials. Michael shares how his client's testimonial got the client's product into a chain after the client tried unsuccessfully for five years.
Where to place your testimonials on your website
- Who is your target? Industry, Sector, Level of Decision Maker
- What is their industry style: Conservative, Outgoing, Change Agent, Highly Regulated
Do you place all of your testimonials by each sector all online together?
Do you share only those you wish each sector to see. There is no one answer to this.
Talk to your mentors about this. Ive gained business from being seen as having relevant programming in many sectors. However I've lost business as I work with all age groups with some of my programs from ages 3 to 103. Yet some feel that excludes me from working with certain types of professionals.

The goal of the testimonial from electrical was to get acknowledgement that the Resiliency programming produces behaviour change in staff.
I'd asked after I was hired but before I'd done the programming what key behaviours would they want to change in key staff. We agreed that positive behaviour changes that appeared after my programming and last up to the six month point would go into the testimonials.
So: I asked for the testimonial, we discussed key indicators I wanted mentioned, and we agreed on time frame. The client very graciously provided the testimonial.
The purpose of the testimonial from Spalding Pharmacy was to document sales success due to service, quality of product and attention to detail. I use ti with my local prospects.my manager used to with other sales professionals to prospect other clients and from there it went for use nationally.

We wanted to help the public understand these multi performance events where very interesting, exciting, and offered a wonderful way to connect in the community. Note the varied ages of those in the video. That was deliberate.
