    Hi, my name is Lucian Popa, I am 38 years old and I am a tennis coach at the club I own.

    I have an experience as a tennis coach for over 17 years coaching athletes at all levels of advanced initiation and performance.

    A few years ago I started practicing BODY WEIGHT training. This type of training will help your child develop mobility, elasticity and strength at the same time.

    The program I created is a unique combination in the world, because the exercises were SPECIALLY designed between BODY WEIGHT EXERCISES and TENNIS-SPECIFIC MOVEMENTS OR EXERCISES.

    This training method has been specially designed for confined spaces such as apartment or office. For this you will need a large enough mirror in which you can see your whole body.

    Your mirror image will help you memorize the movements, so that when you are on a tennis court, it will be much easier for you to remember and execute them correctly.

    The program is addressed especially to CHILDREN but also to parents who want to enjoy the movement at the same time and who have not had contact with a tennis racket or have not had the opportunity to reach a sports field.

    Together we will work 14 lessons of about 45 minutes in which we gradually increase the level of exercise, and at the end of the program I guarantee that you will get a much better physical condition, improved mobility, coordination between body, rocket and ball.

    Each course will have a technical part in which you will learn some basic shots from tennis. We start with warm-up, we will have some coordination exercises between the eyes, hand, racket and ball, we continue with calisthenics exercises and we always end with stretching. It is very important for decompressing muscles after physical exertion and increases joint mobility.

    Through this program you eliminate the trips to the gyms, the contact with other people, you gain time, you increase the efficiency working with your image in front of the mirror, you do not need a big space, the equipment is reduced, working only with a racket and 2 tennis balls . And most importantly, it helps you enjoy this time spent with your family.

    If you are left-handed, you will have to know from the beginning that throughout the program I will present the right-handed shots for right-handers as I am.

    Everything will be the opposite for you! That's what you'll have to remember! You will need to know that some things are different, such as the position I explain and show, the grips used to execute the strokes, and the direction of impact.

    For example, I will execute with the right hand, the Forehand blow in this direction, and you will have to execute it with the left hand in the opposite direction. (I show my hand)

    I will fix the left foot in front, you will have to fix the right foot in front. I mean the opposite!

    The backhand shot will be the same. My imaginary file will be in this direction, for you it will be in the opposite direction, that is, this direction.

    I will fix the right foot in front and you will have to fix the left foot in front.

    Let's talk now about the rocket grips and the position of the hands on the rocket handle.

    For the righthand forehand shot, fix the edge of the right missile between the two fingers. You with your left hand will have to fix the edge of the left rocket between the two fingers.

    The same goes for the backhand shot. The position of the hands on the handle of the rocket for right-handers will be done with the right hand down on the handle of the rocket and the left hand above it. For you, the left hand will be fixed at the bottom of the handle and the right hand above it.

    For the rest of the exercises, it doesn't matter which hand you start with, because most of them are learned with both the right hand and the left hand. Only when I will use only the right hand for certain exercises, then you will have to use only the left hand. It is very simple!
