Description

Teach 5X better English Language skills.

English teaching and learning is much easier with TIPS.

We all know how hard it is to learn the English language. Simple words like ape, apple, army, agree, small, etc. have different sounds of the letter 'a'. While existing methods promote rote learning, the TinyIvy phonics system solves the complex letter-sounds relationship. Now you can teach the language without exception words and rules.

TinyIvy Phonics System, TIPS®, is a novel approach to teaching English. TIPS provides the ability to see every letter sound in detail and become confident readers and speakers of the language. The ability to visualize sounds in the word provides for a deeper understanding of the language. You will learn the accurate pronunciations of each word and your students will be more confident in academics.

The foundations of TIPS® are based on science and research. We all know that English is not phonetically regular. There are 97% exception words and simple words cannot be decoded. However, with TIPS®, this nuance becomes explicit. In TIPS®, one letter makes only one sound. So this makes English Phonetically regular and decodable. There are no exceptions or rules to any of the words.

While this is also true that many people have beliefs that English learning had more to do with Economics, Geography, and Family backgrounds. However, research has shown that language learning has more to do with its own orthography and less with all these different factors. Students can master Phonetically regular languages in less than a year while learning English takes five additional years.

In this course, we explore TinyIvy Phonics and how we can use the Digital Teacher portal to teach effectively to teach the letters and the sounds to students. By the end of this course, you will emerge as a confident learner of the language and will be ready to teach your students with TIPS.
