Description

This introduction to baseball for young beginner players is designed to help coaches and parents guide and teach young baseball players how to get a good enough handle on the game to compete.

In this course, the family behind Robbins Athletics will demonstrate:

  • How to teach young players to develop their reflexes to be able to catch a ball

  • How to help young baseball players become confident catching baseballs

  • Teaching young baseball players how to throw

  • Getting young baseball players to hit well, starting with using a tee, then with soft toss, and finally with pitched balls

  • Teaching young players how to play defense by fielding ground balls and throwing to first base to get a force out.

The Robbins brothers demonstrate their development of baseball skills in this course, including 17-year-old Spencer, 15-year-old Stephen, 12-year-old Ezra, 10-year-old Benjamin, 8-year-old Christian, and 6-year-old Joey.

This course is a good resource for rec league coaches who want to have their team play successfully by developing the fundamental skills required to play baseball well: catching, throwing, hitting, and fielding.

Follow along as the young Robbins kids work on their skills with the help of their dad and their high school baseball playing older brothers.

Who this course is for:

  • Volunteer Rec League Baseball Coaches
  • Parents of Kids Wanting to Play Sports
