In this video, we’ll dive into stenciling. Now that we’ve covered the business side, it's time to focus on creating and applying tattoo stencils for your designs.

In this video, we’ll cover the process of creating and applying hand and machine stencils. Start by removing the tanned color paper and tracing your drawing onto the transparent sheet. For machine stencils, use a stencil machine with the machine stencil paper. Remember to print only outlines, as shading will blur. Once you have your stencil, sanitize the skin, apply a thin layer of stencil stuff, and carefully place the stencil on the skin.

In this video, you'll practice tattooing a stenciled design on practice skin. Start by cleaning the area with alcohol, applying deodorant, and placing your stencil. Allow extra time for the stencil to settle on the plastic practice skin. While tattooing, stretch the skin and do your lines, wiping away excess ink with distilled water. Avoid using green soap until your outline is done, as it may remove the stencil. Use your shading needle to experiment with different shading techniques from the previous video.

Your gloves are now contaminated from tattooing, so it's crucial to avoid touching anything unwrapped, like your phone or other non-tattoo items. Always remove your gloves before handling anything else to maintain a sanitary environment.

In this video, we cover the take down process to ensure everything is cleaned and sanitized properly. Start by removing your gloves after handling the client and payment. Open the storage for your sharps disposal, glove up again, and discard used needles into the sharps container. Remove and dispose of all wrapped materials. Next, clean your machine and bottles with Cavicide wipes, dry them with paper towels, and store them in a sanitized area. Finally, wipe down your rolling tray and practice area to complete the clean-up.
