  • Thyroid, an alternative approach1:48

Edgar Cayce, an American psychic of the last generation, gave us another easy way to stimulate the thyroid gland. He used a door, I used a piece of plywood about the size of a door, and you put one end on your bed or a chair and the other end on the floor, then you lie down inverted so your feet are up and your head down near the floor. Twenty minutes in this position is equivalent to 4 hours of sleep and it also feeds your thyroid just like a headstand or shoulder stand would. I stapled a sheet of foam onto the board and then folded a colorful cloth around it and used safety pins to hold it in place so I could take the cloth off and wash it once in a while. When not is use I stood the board up in back of a door and it was totally out of the way. Roll off the board and lie flat on the floor for 5 minutes before you get up. I did this every morning for years since when my children were young I never seemed to get enough sleep and I usually fell back asleep on the board so set an alarm. You can put a pillow on the floor near where your head will be, more for illusion than actually useful since only the very top of your head will touch it if at all.

Description

Students will learn to use acupressure and reflexology for both prevention and treatment. We begin our journey focusing on the face and how to keep the skin glowing and vibrant to prevent or soften wrinkles. I have studied healing modalities from China and India that have contributed to my own intuitive approach and I have incorporate techniques from all into this course.

All healing patterns are 1 to 5 minutes long and are shown on charts and with a live model for step-by-step directions to perfect the techniques.
