Talk Like A Native

This is not how I was taught at school but after thousands of lessons to help friends and clients who were adapting to living in the UK, then coaching professionals online to work in international companies, I developed a collection of skills that makes a difference.

I am not a fan of learning lists of things but making it fun to see how speaking techniques can improve quickly once you understand how your body works and how you sound.

Most of us sound like robots until we hear ourselves and say 'Oh my gosh, that's me?'

Then we know it's time to change.

This is better than being told to give up.

I had foreign students at a university in London doing accountancy but who never spoke English.

How is that possible? So, I met with them all in the cafe and started teaching them how to sound like a local.

It was difficult at first because I had to be rude and tell them straight but eventually they got it.

That is how this course came about.

Tell them exactly how they sound.

Then explain how they can change.

If you want to do this you will need to be above beginner level.

The big idea is that you will sound great at the end.
