Instructor
Mary Buck is a professional portrait photographer based in the Atlanta area. Since 1997 she has owned and operated a portrait and wedding studio known for its creative style of imagery. Her work has been published in national and local publications such as: Woman’s Day, Forbes, Lawn and Landscape, Atlanta Parent, Gwinnett Parent, and Gwinnett Magazine.
In 2003 she began to teach photography classes to hobbyists and amateur photographers. Her educational program has grown extensively and since 2010 she has taught over 1,000 students how to take creative control of their DSLR cameras at in-person courses. Her classes range from beginner to advanced level, including lighting and creativity workshops. In 2012 she placed her courses online so she could share her passion for photography with the world.
She has also authored four e-books for professional photographers on how to market, price and sell their photography.
In 2014 she has been awarded the photographic craftsman degree in recognition of her service to the photographic profession as an orator, author and mentor.
