Instructor
Hey, I’m Gabriel Castillo, and my journey has been one of deep exploration, healing, and self-discovery. I founded Finally Detached as a space for those who, like me, felt the pull toward something greater—something beyond the limitations of the mind and the constraints of societal conditioning.
My path was profoundly shaped by an encounter with Taino elder Don Hongo, author of The Mushroom Speaks. His wisdom opened my eyes to the depths of psychedelic healing and the power we each hold within us. From that moment on, I dedicated myself to learning, traveling to different parts of the world, and immersing myself in various healing modalities. Along the way, I became certified in Mindfulness & Meditation, Hypnotherapy, Yoga Therapy, Sound Healing, and Psychedelic Guidance, but titles don’t mean much compared to real experience. What matters most is the deep inner work—the process of breaking free from limiting beliefs, healing past wounds, and embracing true self-mastery.
Through my own struggles, I realized something that changed everything:
"If we are our own healers, then we are, in turn, our own destroyers."
I’ve had to face my own shadows, detach from outdated beliefs, and surrender to the process of transformation. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but I do know that true healing and awakening come from within. Finally Detached isn’t about following a guru or relying on external sources—it’s about equipping you with the tools and insights to heal yourself.
If you feel called to this path, I invite you to join me. Whether through psychedelic integration, retreats, sound healing, or simply deep conversations about life’s mysteries, my goal is to support you in stepping into your highest potential.
This isn’t about me—it’s about us and the work we are all here to do. So, let’s explore the universe within together.
