Kameron's journey towards fluency in Tagalog began when he arrived in the Philippines as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
During Kameron's time as a missionary in the Philippines, he faced the daunting task of learning Tagalog, a language he had no prior experience with. Despite months of training and studying, Kameron was struggling to make progress due to a head injury he had sustained as a child, which made learning difficult for him.
Feeling discouraged, Kameron turned to prayer, seeking guidance and help in his journey towards fluency in Tagalog. Kameron spent hours each day studying, and he always began his studies by asking for divine assistance to help him overcome the challenges he faced.
And then, one day, Kameron had a powerful spiritual experience. In an instant, he felt a flood of knowledge and understanding, as if the directions for what and how to study had been downloaded into his mind.
