Please note that this course has undergone a transformation from its previous format, where flashcards were provided physically. As a part of this transformation, all necessary course materials are now conveniently available as downloadable digital content, including references to the Advanced kit of flashcards and a starter kit. Please be assured that both the advanced kit and starter kit are included in your purchase, and all materials you may hear reference to are a part of this course. Simply continue with each lesson to access all learning resources.
The upcoming lecture video suggests that you learn all the flashcards in the starter kit before starting the course. While this is an option, I would recommend that you concentrate on memorizing and learning the material as it is presented, one lesson at a time.
To make this easier for you, I have divided the entire book and flashcards into manageable parts throughout the course.
In summary, there is no need to memorize everything in advance; instead, memorize the items as they appear in the resources tab.
Wishing you the best of luck! :)

Welcome to the course!
Welcome to tagalog.io, your ultimate destination for learning Tagalog!
I am thrilled to be your guide on this exciting journey towards fluency. My primary goal is to provide you with a comprehensive and practical course that caters to all your language learning needs.
As you embark on this journey, you will have access to a plethora of resources that will aid your learning. These resources include informative videos, a comprehensive 356-page textbook, and an astonishing 7,000+ flashcards.
To optimize your learning experience, I have carefully divided my book and all flashcards into easily digestible chapters and parts, making it convenient for you to learn at your own pace. As you progress through the course, you will receive each part of the book in tandem with the relevant part in the course. Similarly, you will receive the flashcards that correspond to each chapter at appropriate intervals.
To make your learning experience even more accessible, I've created three different resources for my flashcards:
Importable Anki Flashcards: I've spent a considerable amount of time formatting these flashcards to look beautiful on any device. If you're not familiar with Anki, don't worry! Anki is software designed for making flashcards, with applications available on iOS, Android, and computers. The files I provide can be imported, and if you're not sure how to do this, simply search on YouTube for explanations and walkthroughs that make using Anki a breeze. All flashcards are given to you in a single download rather than being given to you throughout the course when you use Anki. Please click on resources in this lesson to download all Anki flashcards.
If you already use Anki:
Anki cards are imported as a collection. This could overwrite your other flashcards if you aren't careful. To prevent this, simply create another profile.
Go to File >> Switch Profile >> Add >> Name Your Profile >> Highlight New Profile >> Open and then import the collection from there.
Avery Templates: Some people learn better using physical materials. For those of you who learn best with physical flashcards, I've also got a solution for you! All flashcards have been formatted using an Avery template, allowing you to print your flashcards on your personal printer. Simply head to the Avery website or your local office supply store and purchase Avery Template 28878. When printing your flashcards using the Avery templates, make sure to print them in color.
PDF Templates: I've also formatted my flashcards into a bleed file that can be printed at a professional print shop. It will be up to you to find the print shop, choose the card stock, and work with your local printer on requirements that meet your needs.
Between these three formats, my hope is that I've made my flashcards accessible to all learning methods. Good luck and thank you for choosing tagalog.io a language learning program for Tagalog as your source for fluency in Tagalog.
Welcome to chapter 1!

2. If you'd like to print your flashcards on your personal printer, I've created a PDF that you can download and use with Avery Business Cards. The template I used when formatting my flashcards was Template #28878. To create your flashcards all you need to do is head to https://avery.com and search "28878" in their search bar.
