Practice the decisions behind effective Tableau analysis with 120 original questions divided into two different 60-question tests. Each question includes a correct answer and explanations for all four options. The emphasis is on understanding why a choice fits a scenario and why nearby alternatives can produce a different result.
The question bank covers the four areas in the Tableau Desktop Foundations study outline: connecting to and preparing data, exploring and analyzing data, sharing insights, and understanding Tableau concepts. You will work through scenarios involving live connections and extracts, relationships and physical joins, unions, field properties, chart selection, filters, sorting, sets, groups, calculations, dashboards and sharing formats.
Both tests mix the subject areas. Each contains 14 data-preparation questions, 22 analysis questions, 15 sharing questions and 9 concept questions. The questions are different across the two tests. You will reason about practical details such as retaining leading zeros in identifiers, avoiding duplicated values after joins, choosing an appropriate chart, defining calculation scope, interpreting date fields and creating useful dashboard interactions.
Start with Test 1 without consulting the explanations. Afterward, review the reasoning for every option, follow the documentation references and recreate suitable examples in Tableau where you have access. Use Test 2 after reviewing the topics that need more work. Basic familiarity with Tableau Desktop and common spreadsheet concepts is helpful. The material is a practice-test resource, not a video course or a substitute for hands-on experience.
The topic allocation approximates the published study-area weights. These 60-question tests use a 90-minute learning limit and a 70 percent practice threshold; they do not reproduce the official examination format or predict certification results. The official guide checked for this course names Tableau 2022.3, and the questions focus on established foundational behavior. Documentation review and separate arithmetic checks support the content; no live Tableau runtime validation is claimed.
